Turkish bikers on Lesvos island for â "4th bicycle festival under my pedals"

This action aims to the strengthening of the relations between the bicycle associations from the two sides of the Aegean, Greek representatives from Lesvos said
Approximately 100 bikers arrived on Saturday May 20th 2017 on the island of Lesvos from Ayvalk within the framework of the "4th bicycle festival under my pedals" that is held in Izmir.
It is a European intitiative action but aims to the strengthening of the relations between the bicycle associations from the two sides of the Aegean and is the forerunner of the bike route "Eurovelo" that will link Izmir with Lesvos and Chios.
It is a programme by the European Cyclists' Federation that aims to the promotion of a high quality network of bicycles routes which connects the whole Europe with 15 long distance cycle routes.
The president of the Cyclist Club of Lesvos Ignatios Laskaridis said "it is an effort to promote the tourist product of our island and we have proved that as cyclist movement we can host such organisations
